We are a relatively new, family-owned winery and distillery from Valandovo, the warmest region in Macedonia. Our name – MAKEDON SUN – was inspired by the strong and radiant Macedonian sun, a true symbol of our land and heritage. Guided by tradition, passion, and innovation, we craft authentic wines, spirits, and unique products made from Japanese apples, grown in one of the most fertile and sun-kissed areas of the country. Every drop reflects the power of nature and the spirit of Macedonia.

Makedon Sun is a premium brand under the company Andi Kom from Macedonia, specializing in the production of wine, rakija, mastika, and vinegar made from persimmon (Japanese apple). Our winery and distillery combine tradition with modern technology to craft natural alcoholic beverages with a unique taste.
We are the only producer in our region – and in fact in all of Europe – that creates vinegar and alcoholic drinks from persimmon. This extraordinary fruit, known for its health benefits and rich flavor, is at the heart of our story.
